In order to be eligible for summer 金融援助 you must be earning a degree or qualified 泛亚电竞官网谷学院颁发的证书. 访学学生(攻读某专业的学生) degree elsewhere and attending WVC for the Summer quarter only) are not eligible for 金融援助.

You must have a 2022-2023 金融援助 application (FAFSA/WASFA) on file in our office, with the file review process complete. 另外,你 must complete and submit the Summer Aid Worksheet (see Summer Forms below), which is available in May, 2023 on the day Summer registration begins.

You must be in good academic standing per the 金融援助 Satisfactory Progress Policy.

Grants

Financial aid grants for summer are limited to the following:

• 佩尔助学金: Pell Grant funding is available in the summer, for 合格的学生,  subject to remaining annual and lifetime limits. Pell Grant can now be fully funded year round, up to 150% of the annual amount for 合格的学生.  This allows for Pell funding in the summer for most students, 即使你之前是全职的. Loans

The Federal Stafford Loan Programs, subsidized and unsubsidized, are available.  In addition to the WVC 2022-2023 Federal Direct Student Loan Worksheet, you must have a 2022-2023 FAFSA on file in our office, with the file review process complete.  注:如果你有一个 loan during spring quarter, you do not need to submit a new loan worksheet for summer. Just submit a loan adjustment form and we will review your eligibility**.

When will Summer 金融援助 be available?

Disbursements are made during the first week of the quarter, if there are any remaining 扣除学费后的资金 & fees have been paid and you have no outstanding debts to WVC, including parking tickets, library fines & 其他费用.

Disbursement of your remaining 金融援助 funds (after your tuition & fees have been paid) will be made through BankMobile Disbursements, a technology solution, powered BMTX, Inc. Scenario A:  If your summer 金融援助 (including loans) has been processed prior to the tuition due date and your 金融援助 will cover the full cost of your tuition, the 金融援助 funds will be applied to your account and any remaining funds will be disbursed through BankMobile Disbursements, according to your refund selection preference.

Scenario B:  If your summer 金融援助 (including loans) has been processed prior to the tuition due date and your 金融援助 will cover only part of your tuition, then you must pay the balance on or before the first day of class. 如果你不支付 balance, you might be removed from your classes, or be sent to collections for payment.
